My Uncle Michael always makes me shake hands when we see each other.

He grabs my hand and SQUEEZES it. Then he pumps it up and down. Like he’s expecting water to come out of my mouth or something.

You can stick to saying hello clearly.

The magic words

I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but it’s like some words are magical.

When you say “please” to people, sometimes they do something for you or give you stuff that they never meant to give you.

Be careful how you say it, though. Harry takes the word please and makes it into “pleeeeeeeeeeze.” That is just annoying. Don’t do it.

Also, “thanks” is okay, but “thanks, Mom” or “thank you” is even better. It makes people want to help you if you ever ask for anything.
